What is a Standing Order?

A Standing Order is a regular payment from your bank account. You can set it up to pay other bank accounts, be they your own or those of other people or organisations. You can change or cancel the standing order as and when you like.

How to set up a Standing Order as a regular donation to help veterans

How to add Gift Aid

Gift Aid means we can receive 25 pence extra from the government for every pound you give at no extra cost to you.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in income tax or capital gains tax during the tax year must be at least equal to the amount we claim.

To sign up, you will need to tick and sign the Gift Aid section on the Standing Order Instruction Form.

Where to send your completed form

You will need to send one copy to your bank and one to us.

If you aren’t adding Gift Aid, you can email it to office@firstlighttrust.co.uk  However for Gift Aid we do need a signature, so please scan a copy and send it through email, or print it out and post it to:
