Start and Finish point: Park and ride car park at Junction 34 of the M6 east of Lancaster.
Route: gentle stroll following the River Lune via the Crook of Lune and Caton village.
The route is a mixture of either surfaced tracks or grass.
Distance: approx 7miles.
Refreshments: There are cafes on route some of which are cash only, bring water and snacks.
Clothing: decent footwear either walking boots or trail shoes. Waterproofs and a warm layer.
