After many years of running the Sharpe’s cafés in Lancaster and Scarborough we are delighted that an agreement has been reached which will see ownership of these cafés transferred to The Royal NAAFI (The Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes or simply NAAFI).
Following a few weeks of closure NAAFI will be opening their doors today, 11th May 2023, and we look forward to collaborating with them in the future.
FirstLight Trust will continue to operate in the Lancaster and Scarborough areas concentrating wholly on the support and rehabilitation of those veterans already engaged with FirstLight Trust; and will work closely with NAAFI to ensure the NAAFI coffee shops can continue to be the location for those that need FirstLight Trust’s vital service.
